Rudy was an Army veteran, serving as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airbourne and the 10th and 77th Special Forces. He worked for the parks and recreation dept. of Jamestown, NY, retiring in 1993. He enjoyed skydiving and once biked to Atlantic City, NJ, “just to say he did it.”

Donna and Rudy lived in Jamestown, NY, where Donna was an accounts payable manager for Quality Markets and an accountant for Sterling Manufacturing. She and Rudy relocated to North Carolina in 2017.
