Mario(n) came to the U.S. in 1905 and lived in Uniontown, Pa. He and his family lived in Indiana, Pa., from 1945-1954, before relocating to Leechburg. In his last seven years they lived in Gilpin Township, Armstrong County.

Marion was a professional chef, having worked ten years at the Schenley plant restaurant of Joseph S. Finch Co., the Indiana Hotel and then the Longue Vue Country Club.
