David lived in St. Marys, Pa., and Titusville, Fla. In his youth he served three years in the Army and upon returning to St Marys worked at Stackpole. He then established his own business repairing sewing machings and worked at Dauer’s Office Equipment. He was an elected tax collector for Benzinger Township and retired in 2012 as tax collector for school districts of St Marys and Johnsonburg.
