Patrick lived in Ashville, Pa. He died in a car accident on northbound Route 53 in Gallitzin Township, Cambria Co., Pa. Pat lost control of his vehicle and it went off the east berm of the roadway at an apparent high rate of speed, returned to the road 200 feet away and then struck a bridge abutment, causing the car to flip on its roof. He was a student at the Penn Cambria Vo-Tech school and was driving home from the school with five other students. The other students sustained injuries but survived.
