In 1920, Agnes was one of four lodgers at the home of an Edward Bell on 9th Ave. in Seattle, Wash., and was working as a restaurant waitress. In 1930, she was a waitress and one of several boarders at the home of Bertinius Bendixsen on 8th Ave. In 1940, she was a sewing for the WPA, living with several others at another residence on 8th Ave.
