Sr. Carol was initally known as Sr. Leanne. She became a Sister of Divine Providence in 1959 and professed final vows on August 13, 1967. Her ministry included elementary school education in Pa., Mich. and Ohio, and a position as associate director of religious education for the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, W. Va. She also ministered at parishes in Ohio, Missouri, SC and Ga. She retired due to multiple sclerosis and last lived in Wexford, Pa.
