Clair assisted with the family farming operation and was an Army veteran. He became a maintenance welder for Bethlehem Steel and later taught welding at the Admiral Perry Vo-Tech School in Ebensburg, Pa. In later life he was a tour bus driver for various bus lines. He and Shirley lived at RD, Ebensburg.
