Notes for Harold Joseph Boland
In 1944, Harold established the "Boland Flying Field" aalong Country Club Road in Cresson, Pa. It later became known as Cresson Airport and is pictured in Sr. Anne Frances Pulling's Around Cresson and the Alleghenies (Dover, NH: Arcadia Publishing, 1997), pp. 64-65. Harold worked for the Pa. Coal & Coke Co., retiring in 1962.
