Notes for Mary Catherine Farabaugh
Census records from 1860 to 1900 show that Catherine was raised in Allegheny Township, Cambria County, Pa. She died of lung disease. The following was published in the Cambria Freeman in 1880, which may refer to Catherine (her uncle was Andrew Eckenrode mentioned below):

A fellow unworthy of the name and form of a man was found concealed under the bed of Miss Katie Farabaugh a young lady living in the family of Mr. Andrew Eckenrode, at Carrolltown, one night last week, and it is needless to say was hustled on a double quick. He should have been Eckenrode on a rail and doused in the mill pond.
Notes for George Thomas (Spouse 1)
George was raised on a farm in Allegheny Township, Cambria County, Pa. He settled in Cresson Township as a railroad laborer, with his second wife Kate. By 1910, George was working as a school house janitor. He continued for many years working as a janitor in the Cresson public schools, until compelled by ill heath to retire. He had heart trouble for many years. He further suffered from chronic nephritis and died of uremia. His tombstone birth and death years are erroneous, perhaps due to a miscalculation when his wife’s monument was made years later.
