Tim was a carpenter and lived in Chest Springs, Pa. He accidentally drowned at Raystown Lake, Huntingdon Co., Pa., on May 22, 1981. Tim had been fishing there with four companions and at 6 PM decided to go swimming near the Tatman Run launch area. He reportedly knew how to swim and there was no explanation why he went under. Tim’s body was recovered two hours later by the Smithfield Rescue Squad.
