Fr. Ken was from Joppa, Md. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy at Old St. Mary's Seminary in Baltimore before attending St. Mary's Seminary in Roland Park, prior to his ordination. He became a teacher at Mt. St. Mary's College. His first assignment was as associate pastor at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Baynesville, MD. He had a similar position at St. Bernadine’s Church in West Baltimore. He also taught relifion at St. Paul’s Latin School in Baltimore. In 1969, he was situated at Cardinal Gibbons High School, where he was a teacher, athletic director and track coach. Fr. Ken was pastor at St. Ignatius in Harford County, at the time of his death following a single-car accident in 2000.
