Notes for Mary Barbara Farabaugh
In elementary school, Barbara had the measles and mumps in the same year, which caused her to be held back a year. She ended up being a graduate of Mt. Aloysius high school in Cresson with her sister Anne. Together, they studied to become registered nurses at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. They then shared and apartment in Wilkinsburg, and worked at the hospital. Barbara and John lived in Clairton, Pa.
