Mary is listed in the 1915 and 1916 city directories for Seattle, Wash., which indicate she is a dressmaker and widow of Leonard Burkey. According to the 1920 Census, Mary and her daughter Esther were living there with Mary’s parents, Owen and Elizabeth Garrity. Mary cannot be found after this.

In 1906, Leonard was a clerk, and he and Mary were living in Spangler, Pa. They settled in Seattle, Wash.
