Notes for Clair Fern Cassidy
Clair was a partner in a coal mine near Morrellville, and worked for the Coolbaugh Plastering Co. He survived several battles during WW II, and was given medals for bravery in combat at the Aleutian and Marshall Islands. As an Army sargeant in the 17th Infantry Division, he was seriously wounded at Okinawa.
