In 1930, Cletus was a student at the Railway Engineering College of the University of Detroit, living as a boarder in Vassar Village, Tuscola Township, Mich. He became a civil engineer and in 1960 was President of the Pa. Society of Professional Engineers, Delaware County Chapter. He lived in Philadelphia, Pa.

Margaret was a nurse. She died of post operative shock, suffering from malignant hypertension, following the premature Caesarean birth of her daughter Ann.
