Notes for Rev. Homer Joseph Farabaugh
Homer was a veteran of WWII. Like his father, he was a postal clerk in Jeannette. He worked at the post office there for 33 years and became superintendent, retiring as assistant postmaster in 1979. He then studied for the ministry and was ordained by the United Methodist Church in 1991. He was a pastor in Penn, Hecla, New Derry, Lycippus, New Madison and Harrison City, Pa. Homer settled in Greensburg, Pa.
