Robert was an Army veteran of WWII for three years. He worked for US Steel, Homestead Works, for 43 years. He severed with the St. Vinvent DePaul Society for over 60 years and various other charitable and religious organizations. Robert is also remembered as a prolific poet and and as a local stage actor.
