Anthony was raised in Clearfield Township, Cambria County, Pa., and worked the family farm. Following his marriage to Anna, he settled on the Patton-Dysart Road in Clearfield Township, but continued to work his father’s farm. He then worked for The Pennsylvania and Penn Central Railroads for 30 years, retiring in 1971.
