Alda was often known as “Alma.” She and Henry Madden lived in Altoona, Pa., where Henry worked as a coppersmith and then car builder at the railroad shops. Henry retired as a coppersmith with the Pennsylvania Railroad in April of 1942. Alma later lived at R.D., Claysburg, Pa.

In 1952, Warren was involved in an accident when he rear-ended a stalled truck being pushed by two men on Rte. 220 two mile south of Claysburg, which was fatal to one of the men, 22-year-old Harry F. Ott.
