Notes for Leo Raymond Farabaugh


Leo lived in Cleveland, and Lore City, Ohio. During WWII he served in Africa and Italy. He later was a Teamster dock worker with Cleveland Freight Line, and also worked as a coal miner, timber cutter and in a meat packing house. He was a PFC in the U.S. Army during WWII and his tombstone’s epitaph is: “An Independent Man.” He is remembered for his good character, hatred for mining companies and took extremely good care of his tools and cars.
