Dennis lived in Las Vegas, Nev., before settling in Ebensburg, Pa. He was the owner and operator of the Old Gray Mare Pub in Carrolltown and was well known in the community for raising and selling sweet corn with his brother Jim. Dennis enjoyed raising many types of exotic animals, especially buffalo. He served in the Korean War and is remembered for his story-telling ability.
