Notes for Dr. Martin Paul Farabaugh
Dr. Farabaugh and his wife Caroline lived in Edinboro, Pa. Originally from Colver, Pa., Martin obtained his doctorate from Catholic University in 1966 with a major concentration in vocational technical education. He became an adminstrator at Edinboro State College's School of Education the following year, and then became an associate dean in 1973. Martin became dean of the school in 1977. In addition to his administrative career, Martin has taught at several schools in Cambria County, and participated in numerous state and federal education projects. He was also a veteran of the Korean War. In 1974, he was named an Outstanding Educator of America and was made a member of Who's Who in the East.
