Walt Rudolph of Loretto was a caller in a square dance orchestra, with Jim McGuire on piano, Roy Cone on fiddle and Harry Hill on banjo. They played at various places in the area, such as the Grange Hall in Munster. He was a farmer and farming manager, associated with the Sisters of Mercy in Loretto and St. Mary’s Orphanage. Following an autopsy, it was determined that he died of acute cardiac failure.
