Patrick joined the U.S. Army in July of 1965 and was assigned as a combat construction specialist, arriving with the 14 Engineering Barralion in Vietnam in November of 1966. He later lived at Mineral Point, and/or Vinco, Pa. Patrick enjoyed hunting and caring for his horses.
