Jim lived in Ohio for 20 years, where he worked as a machinist for American Can in Cleveland. He also owned and operated roof and siding businesses. In 1980 he returned to Pa., and became a maintenance supervisor for Butterick Co. in Altoona, retiring in 2002. He and Eleanor settled in Northern Cambria, Pa.
