Patricia was the Galveston Dairy Queen of 1953. In 1955, she was “Miss Galveston” and qualified to compete in a statewide contest in Houston. In 1969, she and Keith moved in Waymart, Pa., went to Houston, Tx., in 1984, and lastly Santa Fe, Tex.

James was an oil refinery worker in the Galveston and Texas City areas until 1976, when he and Martie started a life overseas. James was a project manager in Iran, Saudi Arabia, the Virgin Islands, Egypt and Singapore. They returned in 1990 and James in his retirement was a special education teacher in Pearland, Tx.
