Lived in Tyrone and in Johnstown, Pa. John was part of the family’s dairy business established in 1916. The Hagg Farm was initially located near Resevoir Park, Tyrone. In 1930, the dairy moved to Washinginton Avenue, near Shippen Street. After his father died in 1934, John Jr. in 1941 completed a dairy facility at 15th St. and Hamilton Ave. Several improvements followed. In addition to his dairy concern, John served on the Board fo Directors for Tyrone Hospital, was on the borough council and was a member of the Serra Club in Altoona.
