Louis worked as a sewer system worker for Gerald Vitale Co. He was killed when a large chunk of earth fell into a ditch at his worksite on Dawson Street in California, Pa. The company was installing a catch basin at the time. The check struck Louis in the head and he sustained a fractured skull. He died at Brownsville General Hospital.
