The 1920 Census indicates that Emile and Mary immigrated in 1900 and were naturalized in 1913. Emile was a coal miner. They lived at RD 2, Patton, Pa.

Emile actually immigated in 1901. He is found on a passenger list for The Nederland, which departed from Antwerp and arrived in Philadelphia on january 4, 1901. Emile Lenglet is identified as a 27 year old married miner, who last lived in Calais, France. The mainifest indicates he was travelling to the residence of his cousin Henri Furier, and was accompanied by 10 year old Marie Furier, whose passage was paid for by her mother.
