“Skip didn’t know a stranger; he helped everyone.” On October 1, 2010, Skip stopped to help a disabled motorist on Route 403 near Strongstown, Pa. While trying to push the car from a small ditch on the side of the road, another car approached, lost control and a collision ensued. Skip was thrown 60 feet onto a nearby lawn and suffered fatal injuries.

Skip enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars, and lived with Angela in Seward, Pa.
