The Andersons lived in Boggs Township, Clearfield Co., Pa. Elmer was a foreman for a tramway. After the early death of Myrtle, Elmer married Margaret and they lived at Pleasant Hill, Decatur Township. They later settled in Osceola Mills, and Elmer worked for Harbison & Walker Brick Co. at the Retort Mines at Sandy Ridge.

Myrtle died of cardiac complications and nephritis.
