Settled in Miami, Fla. Michael was a chemical engineer with Dow Chemical for 15 years, where he led the team responsible for the first “zip lock baggie” and was involved in the development of Dow bathroom cleaner (scrubbing bubbles) and other products. After moving to Miami in 1967, Michael had a successful career as a real estate developer in the Doral community and Homestead. He also was an owner of a blues and jazz venue, Tobacco Road, and was an avid boater and spear fisherman.
