Bob was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He worked at the coke plant of Bethlehem Steel in Johnstown. and was also a bus driver for the Portage Area School District, with Wilkinson Bus Lines. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and attending car shows with his Model A Ford.
