Gert was a sales clerk for Sears and Robert Hall men’s clothing stores in Lancaster, Pa. She is remembered for her Faberge eggs.

Ed and Gert lived in Mountville, Pa. Edwin was an appliance repairman for H.C. Ostertag in Columbia, Pa., and later worked for Mountville Wallpaper Co. and Weis Markets. He was a life member of the Mountville Fire Co.
