Notes for John Leonard (Spouse 1)
John was raised in Blacklick Township, Cambria Co., Pa., where he became a farmer. The 1900 Census shows that he was a single farmer in Blacklick Twp., With partner Samuael long and a 16-year-old employee, Watson Puth. John never married and died young.

John died of internal injuries near Strongstown when he fell down a flight of barn stairs, leading to the feeding room below. He fell across the manger and although he had severe pain in the region of the stomach, it was not considered serious. He went that evening to the home of David McClusky and during the night suffered intense pain and died before a physician could be summoned. “He was considered one of the most robust young men of the neighborhood.”
Notes for Isaac Michael (Spouse 2)
Issac was a farmer and lived his entire life in Strongstown, Indiana Co., Pa.
