Ethel is listed in the 1934 obituary of Joseph C. Farabaugh, as his daughter and a resident of his home in Ebensburg, Pa. She is not mentioned in any other records for the area, nor in the obituary of Anna Mignot Farabaugh, Joseph’s wife. She could have been a child to Joseph’s third wife, also named Anna, and/or could have died young. Another possibility is that she lived to adulthood and is the Ethel Farabaugh paired with brother Albert, in the 1928 city directory for South Bend, Ind.
