Notes for Duaine Anthony Whitby
Duaine served 17 years in the Marine Corps, including deployments for the Korean and Vietname War. He received several honors, including 7 Purple Hearts. He was captured during the Korean War but escaped several days later. He later worked as a corrrectional officer for the Lehigh County Prison and was also a part time police officer. He lived in Catasauqua and settled in Orefield, Pa.
