Paul was a Navy veteran, serving on the USS Enterprise and USS Abraham Lincoln during the Gulf War. He was a union plumber and pipefitter, realtor and accomplished bowler. He died of blunt force trauma when his motorcycle struck a raised curb, ejecting him from the bike.
