The Inglerts lived in the 10th Ward, Johnstown, Pa.
Cecelia died when she was only 36 years old. "She had done the family washing in the forenoon and about noon was sitting on the porch [of her home] when she was observed to fall over in a faint. Medical aid was summoned, and, though the doctors did all they could, Mrs. Inglert failed to rally and died at 6 o'clock without regaining consciousness."
Census records from 1870 and 1880 indicate that Cecelia had scrofula (a form of tuberculosis) while growing up in Carroll Township. She was a dressmaker.
