Cloe settled in St. Michael, Pa. She was a Navy veteran of WWII, serving with the Bureau of Ships in Wash, D.C. Cloe began her teaching career in 1950, with the Adams Township School District. She then taught for 51 years in elementary schools for the Forest Hills School District. Cloe raised her niece and nephew, Tama and Graven Werfel, with her mother Madalene.
