Notes for Charles Ray Farabaugh
The Farabaughs settled in Carrolltown, Pa. Charles was a coal miner and an airplane pilot. He also manufactured jewelry and artwork from his collection of gemstones. Charles served as a Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy during WW II in the Pacific Theater. He worked at the Springfield Four Coal Mine in Spangler, and later retired from the Beth Energy Mine 33 in Ebensburg, Pa. He enjoyed motorcycles and rock tumbling.
