Edgar lived in Allentown and settled in Doylestown, Pa. He served in the USN on the USS Oliver Mitchell during WWII. He earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Lehigh University in 1964. He was an elementary school teacher in the Upper Marion School Dist., King of Prussia from 1952-3; Quakertown Community School Dist, Quakertown, 1953-68, where he was the founding wrestling coach in his last ten years there; and the Central Bucks School Dist., Doylestown, from 1968 until his retirement in 1988.
