Ida died of a cerebral hemmorage.

George was a coal miner. A year after his retirement he died in auto accident with a second vehicle on Route 422 in Blacklick Township, Cambria County, Pa. George fractured his ribs and punctured his lung, and died two days later from bronchopneumonia. He lived in Colver, Pa., but had relocated to Philadelphia by the time of his demise.
