Notes for Edwin Rubin Ritchey
In 1918, Edwin was a car builder for the Pennsylvania Railroad in Altoona, Pa. In 1920, he and Mary were living with her parents on Spruce Avenue in Altoona, and Edwin is again listed as a car builder for the Pa. Railroad. In 1930, he and Mary were at the same residence of her parents, but Edwin’s occupation had changed to baker. His death certificate indicates he was a married watchman for Washington Sub. Sanitary Commission, and that he died from cirrhosis of the liver due to alcoholism.
