Like his father, William was a crane operator for a steel mill. In 1940, his young family was living next to his parent’s residence in Cooperstown, Pa. They lived in Hartford Ct., in the 1950s to at least 1970, where William worked in clerical occupations and then worked in the military personnel administration. They also lived in Newington, Ct. They later settled in Florida.
