Francis was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He lived in Chicago Heights, Ill., and at the time of his marriage he was a claims agent with the New York Central railroad. Francis was always known as “Junior,” but when his records were obtained following death it was discovered that his middle name actually differed from that of his father. He and Patricia settled in Park Forest, Ill.
