Regis was from Ben Avon, Pa. He was chief executive officer of the Mangood Division of Streeter Richardson in Chicago, Ill., a company that manufactures weighing devices. Previously, he was group vice president of the packing division of Interlake, Inc., Chicago, and president of the Trent Tube Division of Colt Industries. Regis was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
