On 1930, Walter was a truck driver, with his own truck, living with his parents in Coupon, Pa. In 1935 he was living in Patton with his wife Agnes and daughter Rita Mae, but by 1940 he was a drayage truck driver, living with Agnes and two children next to his parents in Coupon.
