Notes for William C. (Spouse 1)
When William was 17, it was reported that he was hospitalized for a laceration of the scalp in Altoona, Pa., while working as a sweeper in a car shop. After his marriage to Colletta, they lived on 16th Avenue, where William was a railroad brakeman and then had his own plumbing business. Colletta was the bookkeeper. In 1927, William was hospitalized for a possible rib fracture.

The couple had divorce proceedings in 1929. A judically-appointed master recommended to a Hollidaysburg court that William be granted a divorce due to desertion by Colletta. A few months later, William was arrested for gambling at the Walton Hotel.
Notes for John Francis (Spouse 2)
