As a boy, John’s family lived in Blain City, Pa.
In 1920, John and Ora were living with Ora’s parents in Altoona, Pa. John was a foreman at the railroad company. By 1930, they settled in Detroit Mich. John was an auto body inspector and then an auto factory foreman. The family lived on Spingle Avenue and then on Fischer Street. John worked for Chrysler, and belonged to the Masonic Lodge 531, where he was Worshipful Master.
